Sun, 17 December 2006 Here goes the next conjuredbeats, number sixteen. I mixed this a week ago and figured I was just playing around, but I listened to it the other day and decided it was decent enough to post. Happy Holidays everyone! Comments[0] |
Mon, 13 November 2006 Here's the 15th edition of conjuredbeats! Maybe I say this too often, but this is one of my favorites so far. Hope you enjoy! For more information about this podcast check out www.conjuredbeats.com. I also have a myspace page at myspace.com/conjurdbeats go ahead and add me as a friend! The reason this release is tagged with 'proper' after it's name was because the initial post was only a partial file, this is the proper release. Comments[0] |
Mon, 23 October 2006 The return of the self-proclaimed greatest techno podcast is here! Conjuredbeats #014 is just the start of many great mixes to come, so keep on the look out. Comments[0] |
Mon, 1 May 2006 Well this mix took longer than I had hoped to put up, but I've been busy with school and wanted to make sure I put out something of quality. I also had hoped to make a harder mix, but I've been in much more of a minimal mood lately. I really enjoy this mix though, I think it turned out quite well. This is mostly a minimal techno mix, but don't let that scare you, it's got a lot of flavor to it. My next mix I will deliver some harder, funkier stuff, so look forward to that! I will have the next one posted by May 25th. Comments[0] |
Mon, 27 March 2006 Finally. I'm back on track now, and the next set is ready! I'm VERY pleased with the track selection on this mix. Every track aside from one has been released in the last month or two, so its nice and fresh. This is a pretty straight up funky-ish techno mix, so enjoy! Oh, and I encoded this one in 192kbps; so the download might be a wee bit longer, but it should be worth it. Comments[0] |
Sun, 12 February 2006 Here we go! This mix is my demo for 2006. While the mixing is pretty good, I have yet to decide if this will be the final cut for the demo, but I'm leaning in that direction. After my last demo in 2002-2003, I think it's pretty silly to mix it anymore than a few times. Did I mention I hate mixing demos? Anyways, I'll be handing out CD's later this month, so if you want one, you can either hit me up at conjuredbeats@gmail.com, or you can stop by the Newsroom on monday, or Jilly's on Fridays for Green. Sun, 22 January 2006 This mix is a bit of a follow-up to my last mix. It varies in style, but it's best described as minimal-tech-house, with a dash of funk, amongst other things. Starts out with a great track by Jussi Pekka "Let It Go (Don't Worry)", and ends with a track that I've found reflects my situation very well, by Yoshimoto "Du What U Du (Trentemoeller Remix)". I personally love it, but check it out for yourself! Comments[0] |
Thu, 5 January 2006 This mix is dedicated to my ex-gf, Jessica, who I love very much. When I found the intro song "Sunset Boulevard", it fit all too well, considering she has moved out to Los Angeles. Also featuring Alex smokes "Don't see the point", and ending with a beautiful song that she inspired me to play, Bent "Always". This mix also features some quirky/upbeat tracks, that I felt are the positives that will shine through the negatives in the future. Expect another mix (and probably others on occasion) similar in style for conjuredbeats010. I hope you all enjoy. Comments[0] |
Mon, 19 December 2005 Merry Christmas everyone! This is actually my 2002-2003 "official" mix CD. I needed a little bit of time off, and will be back to making mixes after the new year. My next couple mixes will certainly be dedicated to my ex-gf to whom I still love, and I hope will one day take me back. So expect some more minimal/deep sounds, and maybe some radiohead/bjork/swayzak mixed in. As always check my website at www.conjuredbeats.com for more info. Comments[0] |
